About Me

Hello there! My name is Eleni and I live in Greece. I’m half English half Greek, and I love cooking! I’ll be sharing my favourite recipes with you, from other blogs, websites, magazines, or anywhere I can find them!

And a message to my Greek friends:
Γειά σας! Με λένε Ελένη και ζω στην Αθήνα. Ξεκινάω αυτό το μπλόγκ για να μοιραστώ με όλους τις αγαπημένες μου συνταγές. Κυρίως θα γράφω στα Αγγλικά, αν όμως κάποιος θέλει μια συγκεκριμένη συνταγή στα Ελληνικά δεν έχει παρά να μου αφήσει κάποιο σχόλιο και θα προσπαθήσω να την μεταφράσω!

  4. Eleni. I love your blog. I am so glad I have found you today. I am very fond of Greek food. I have made a couple of trips to Greece and have such fond memories of the islands and the food. I was fortunate enough to spend two months on Siphnos. I look forward to trying some of your recipes!

    • Hi! Thank you so much for visiting. Siphnos is one of my most favourite islands, I used to go there as a kid (camping on Vathy beach, before the posh hotel and the road were built!). Such amazing beauty. Check out my revithia (chickpea) soup recipe, it’s a traditional dish of theirs! Thanks for reading..

  8. Hi Elini, nice to meet you, I found you by Googeling jacket pots in slow cooker, really love your blog. Will be looking through the recipies over the next few days and adding ingredience to my shopping list.

    Susan x

    • Hi Susan! Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m afraid I’ve been neglecting this blog lately due to a new one I’ve started in Greek, but I’m hoping to post something new soon! In the meantime the recipe index should help you sort through what’s here! Any questions about anything just let me know! By the way, the jacket potatoes are the most popular post ever!! 🙂
